About me

I am a 31 year old woman, traumatised, frazzled, but still standing and ready to create some art. I live with my husband Michael in Rochford, Essex, in a beautiful house overlooking bountiful green farmland. We often sit in bed and listen to the birds twittering in the garden against the backdrop of the softly-humming light aircraft coming in to land at the airfield nearby. Our little cat, Casper, destroys all my beautiful black clothes with his snowy-white hair. In the evenings we feed our sett of badgers and watch the bats flitting between the trees. It’s not a bad life!

Come November ’22, we’ll be expecting our beautiful baby son – our most exciting venture yet!

I work with my husband supporting his/our software company, CubeCoders, after years working for national charities, non-profits and local government. I love to paint (both digital and traditional forms), write poetry, write novels, read, and collect bizarre vintage items for my home.

I’ve been through a lot in my time on this planet. As a result of that, you could say I have a few issues, a few great qualities –

and a few things I want to say.

Thank you for taking the time to read my blog; it’s much appreciated.

That visit identified low-grade CIN1 cell changes to my cervix as a result of the all-too-common HPV virus. You can learn all about HPV here. In most cases, the HPV and abnormal cells go away on their… Read more
